In 2005 Cathy and Steve (Our founders) were enjoying a romantic weekend in New York and were drawn into the luxury world of Takashimaya, a Japanese department store on Fifth Avenue. They purchased two small and inexpensive items and the sales assistant asked if they would like them gift wrapped... After what seemed like an age, she returned with a wonderful creation... Their small and meager purchase, had been transformed through the power of beautiful paper and ribbon, into a gift that looked a million dollars!
So why did this matter..? Fast forward a few days and the gift was handed over and for a brief moment, life slowed down and distilled to one of the most important feelings that we are lucky enough to experience... the recipient felt loved. It was this moment that motivated Cathy and Steve to create a business that would help to facilitate these special moments and so Vivid Wrap was born!
With a passion for color and love of design, Vivid create all our products in our design studio, in Bath, England. Inspired by the world of fashion and interiors, our aim is to create a luxury handmade product that gives you the retail buyer a real point of difference!
