Charles Good-Man

Charles Good-Man is the President and Founder of Rekonect, the first and only customizable magnetic notebook that allows users to remove, rearrange and reconnect individual pages. Before launching Rekonect, Charles worked as a freelance designer for several companies including a leading national architectural design firm and an award-winning foreign language learning system.
After experiencing the frustration of not being able to move things around in his own sketchbook, he realized there was a need for a more flexible option and began to create the prototype for Rekonect in his garage in 2013. Two years later, a video showing how Rekonect works became a virtual hit on social media with more than 40 million views. From there, Rekonect went to Kickstarter for 45 days, where it propelled the brand over the necessary goal of $75,000 to over $200,000 reaching the top 1% of all funded Kickstarter products.
A native of Southern California, Charles graduated Westmont College in Santa Barbara with a degree in art. He was also awarded Best Art Piece of the Year throughout Santa Barbara and graduated top of his class. When not creating new designs and growing the business, Charles is an avid surfer and loves to spend time at the beach.

Jessie Good-Man is the co-founder of Rekonect, the first and only customizable magnetic notebook that allows users to remove, rearrange and reconnect individual pages. While Charles focuses on the design side of the business, Jessie is applying her passion for entrepreneurial ventures to help launch and scale the business. In her role, Jessie focuses on communications, customer relations and vendor management. She graduated magna cum laude from University of California, Irvine with a degree in Psychology.
