Arcadrone: An unprecedented entertainment experience for amusement parks and FECs

Grenoble, France, May 15, 2018 - Drone Interactive presents Arcadrone, a new type of
interactive multiplayer attraction that combines flying real drones with video games.
After the resounding success of our prototype at this year’s CES in Las Vegas and thanks
to the enthusiasm shown by the general public and major market players, Drone
Interactive will soon start manufacturing with the goal of installing the system in a
French FEC by the end of the year.
Flying drones is increasingly popular with the general public but also entertainment
venues such as FECs and location-based attractions. Drones are generally perceived to
be too expensive, too complicated, and even too dangerous to fly. In addition, the
regulations wall for drone use in public spaces is becoming more and more difficult to
overcome. With Arcadrone by Drone Interactive, you eliminate those obstacles thanks to
an accessible, safe and fun experience using immersive and interactive gaming
technology. Flying drones is now a family-friendly activity that’s as easy as riding a bike.
Arcadrone is a concentration of state-of-the-art technology: Anyone can fly the drones—
from young children to their great-grandparents—and thanks to augmented reality, the
gaming experience can be totally adapted. The sky is the limit! Depending on the
gameplay offered, the drones interact with each other and the virtual components of the
video game such as background, bonuses or characters.
Arcadrone is a turnkey solution that easily integrates into any park or FEC location. It
can adapt to any theming design and is a great opportunity for operators to renew or
diversity their offer. The intense, three- to five-minute games make for excellent guest
turnover. And what’s even better is that the spectators can also get a piece of the action.
Arcadrone is particularly easy to install and use as it requires no dedicated operating
staff, minimizing operating costs and maximizing revenue.
Drone interactive is currently working on several potential projects with major players
in the FEC and amusement park industry in France and abroad. We will be showcasing
our system at the Euro Attractions Show in Amsterdam from September 25 to 27, 2018.
