TruWood Debuts Visualizer Tool

Klamath Falls, Ore.  – Collins Products, maker of TruWood® Siding and Trim engineered wood products, will debut its new Visualizer Tool at the Pacific Coast Builders Conference (PCBC) June 27-28.

The online tool allows builders, contractors, remodelers, architects and homeowners to visualize TruWood Siding and Trim on their homes. Users can browse from sample homes or upload a photo of their own home and then choose from selections of more than 33 styles of sidings, accents and trims in many custom colors. The designs, along with a custom design report, can be saved, printed and emailed to builders and remodelers.

Following the show, users can design their own home here: visualizer.truwoodsiding.com

“This new tool allows contractors and homeowners to view the home of their dreams, helping them make thoughtful design and purchasing decisions,” said Lori Worthington of Collins. “Not only can you view various colors and trim options, but the tool allows you to experiment with different textures, styles and even color ideas.”

From basic cottage-style lap boards that provide the look of cedar siding to designer cedar shake for accents with nostalgic flourishes, TruWood Siding and Trim products offer builders and homeowners value and added curb appeal to any style home. Builders and architects can choose from the look of western red cedar, adobe panels, Craftsmen style shingles and even round, fish scale, cove or diamond detail patterns to complement any home including but not limited to Craftsmen style, American bungalow, Mid-century modern, Colonial, Brownstone, Modern Ranch, Victorian and more. TruWood offers a myriad of flexible and affordable ways to add the unique detail and personal touches demanded by homeowners today.

TruWood offers real material advantages as well. With no natural defects, there is less waste than with cedar, and engineered wood products will not rot, splinter or warp. In addition, TruWood’s EcoGuard zinc borate process resists mildew, rot and termite damage.  Like real cedar, TruWood contains no silicates and is easy and safe to install using normal woodworking tools. It is also lighter than cement-fiber products and comes in up to 16’ lengths making transportation easier and installation faster. TruWood Siding and Trim is pre-primed for weatherability and needs to be painted.

Along with trying out the new visualizer tool, PCBC attendees also can stop by TruWood’s booth (# 1745) to enter to win an Apple iPad Pro.
