Using Virtual Reality by Focus 360, Shea Homes Successfully Presells Waterline Project

Nearly five years in the approval process, Waterline by Shea Homes, a project consisting of 60 flats and townhomes on the shoreline in Point Richmond, California, will have its grand opening on Saturday, June 23rd.  Located just minutes from Marin, Berkeley and San Francisco, it is designed for those who want to live by the water.

Using a Virtual Reality presentation by Focus 360, Shea Homes sold numerous flats and townhomes—with ZERO models—during their 8-month presale campaign.  Focus 360 created an interactive experience which allowed buyers to gain a true understanding of their dream homes with their perfect plan options, and of the neighborhood and surrounding Waterline community with bay views of the San Francisco skyline.

The challenge of this project was to sell in an area where there was no new construction for quite some time, so awareness was important to the look and feel of the finished project and how it would complement the surrounding community.  Due to the complexity of the floorplans and plan options, as well as the myriad of building types and view options, the solution needed to be clear and succinct, yet accurately demonstrate to buyers a feeling of being immersed into this upscale, bay side, simplified lifestyle.  Click the following link to view the Virtual Reality experience:  http://www.builderonline.com/land/local-markets/shea-introduces-waterline-outside-san-francisco_o?utm_source=newsletter&utm_content=Press%20Release&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=BBU_061918%20(1)&he
