Briana Zonas Design will participate as a first time exhibitor at Surtex at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York, NY on May 20–22, 2018.
Although new to Surtex, Briana Zonas comes with over 13 years of experience in the surface pattern design industry, specializing in home goods. Prominent department stores such as Macy’s and Marshall Field’s have featured her rug designs. Briana has also served as a ghost designer for Donghia and Jessica McClintock, as well as other home fashion industry trendsetters.
Using watercolor or water-based mixed media, Briana creates a sense of ethereal beauty using vibrant colors and fluid brush strokes. She allows the water to mix with the pigments naturally, bleeding into one another to create blooms of color next to hard edge water lines. Depending on what the design calls for, she will sometimes overlap with gel pens or put the design in a digital pattern format. Briana Zonas Design also offers custom design work for your unique product.
