Our Story

We are a complete end-to-end business with teams actively involved in every step of the design, production, distribution and retail process. This close involvement means that we are able to ensure quality at every stage, so all our products are designed and tailored to the highest standards. IslandHaze's brand embodies the beach lifestyle, and offers a true insight into a world full of youth and energy.

With a passion for surfing & beach lifestyle, we started designing and manufacturing men’s board shorts that were trendy, with fresh designs. We held on to our brand uniqueness: YOUNG, ACTIVE, FORWARD and SEXY, and won our reputation this way. With the success of our men’s board shorts, we expanded our product line to include men’s walkshorts, t-shirts, rash guards, surfboards, jackets, sweaters, and related accessories such as wallets, sunglasses, backpacks, etc.

Around that same time the popularity of women’s surfing was also growing. The demand for female surf wear and young casual wear was dramatically increasing, so in 2003 IslandHaze teamed up with 7-time world surfing champion Layne Beachley to create Blue Kiss. In the following years IslandHaze went from strength to strength, sponsoring multiple surfing events and establishing fashion and retail outlets around the world.
