Santa Fe’s Hottest metalsmith Cynthia Jones will be making her debut at this year at NYNOW Summer Show at the Javits Center. A cherished local favorite, CJJ has been handcrafting jewelry since 2006. Created strictly with hammered metals, CJJ pieces are classic utilitarian with a strong sense of contemporary femininity. Whether it’s the ever-popular Saturn Ring in a variety of metals and finishes, or more ornate Siren Necklace; every piece is made by hand, making it intrinsically personal and unique.
Cynthia Jones's collection aesthetic is composed of clean designs creating timeless pieces for everyday wear. CJJ pieces range from basic bangles and stack rings to multi layered ornate necklaces and earrings. As practical as Cynthia is artistic, she “thinks it’s imperative to make sure that my work is constantly evolving and not staying stagnant. I always want to move forward and be current, while creating pieces that are simple, chic & easy to wear.”
Cynthia loves working in Santa Fe, but is sure her pieces have worldwide appeal. “Living in the southwest has definitely inspired my work. I think just being in the open space allows me to think in a way that would be more challenging elsewhere, and I am so thrilled to be able to share my collections with buyers in NYC!”
