Specifications
One of the particularities of the 849 series lies in its hexagonal shape. The pens are easy to handle, offering writing comfort over long periods.
The attributes of the 849 Tropical pen are made from metal. Its body is available in a selection of five two-tone shades: midnight blue/sapphire blue, lush green/fuchsia pink, pastel blue/lemon yellow, cobalt blue/turquoise blue, carmine red/tangerine orange.
Thanks to its ergonomic, easy-to-activate push-button, it is the ideal writing instrument for daily use. Its steel point contains a revolving tungsten carbide ball which guarantees a clean line with no smudges. Like most Swiss Made Caran d’Ache ballpoint pens, the 849 Tropical is fitted with the legendary giant Goliath cartridge, enabling the user to write up to 600 pages of A4 which is equivalent to a length of 8,000 metres. Refills are available in the following formats and colours: M (blue, black, red, green), F (blue, black, red), B (blue, black).
Designed with the same commitment as that afforded luxury writing instruments, the models in the Caran d’Ache 849 Tropical collection are developed and produced exclusively in the company’s Geneva workshops.
