The use of technology in supervision is a newer mode of practice, and guidelines pertaining to the ethical use of technology-assisted supervision (TAS) are not fully developed. This interactive session will focus on understanding ethical and best-practice guidelines available as they relate to TAS, with particular attention on discussing ethical principles and virtues as applied to the supervisory relationship, informed consent with supervisees and clients, and assessment of supervisee counseling effectiveness.
