Men attend counseling and seek health-care services at significantly lower rates than women and on average die five years younger than women, with their early demise being attributable to stress, mental health concerns, and disease. This session describes 10 of the most common health-related concerns of men, provides counseling concerns related to them, addresses ways of attracting men to counseling, and provides a vehicle for collaborating with health-care providers. The session is jointly led by a counselor educator and a physician.
