In 2016, Russula received an order from Dojran Steel to do a major overhaul on its plant located in Nikolic, F.Y.R. in Macedonia. The mill expansion project includes the supply of a new 350,000-tpy bar and section mill. New mechanical equipment, a control system and technical support are provided. As a result of the project, Dojran Steel will double its existing production and will increase the number of products it currently rolls. This paper will discuss the details of the project and the improvement benefits.
