After suffering from PTSD for 47 years, combat veteran Tim Keenan returns to remote Hill 1338 near Dakto, Vietnam, the scene of a battle that changed his life. He went, along with his youngest son and film director Neal Steeno, for what turned out to be an emotional meeting with “the enemy,” Vietnamese veterans who had opposed him in the same battle, and to remember the friends he lost there in November 1967. This is the story of that cathartic journey and a showing of the resulting award-winning documentary Naneek.
