In some countries, three out of five menstruating individuals don’t finish high school due to a lack of access to products. Menstrual inequity is one of the leading causes of education inequity, child marriage, and even maternal mortality. And yet, because discussing periods is taboo, the larger problems are never fully addressed. What can we do to create a revolution around access to menstrual products and education? What outcomes would this lead to? How can Mensa help? Hear Manju Bangalore, Founder of ROSIE, a student-driven, menstrual health nonprofit, discuss what obstacles stand in creating a world where menstruation doesn’t hold a person back.
