At what age should children be transitioned from playing pretend to training for real-world skills? How do you know when a child should start learning to handle knives, guns, power-tools, machinery, paint, poisons, etc.? How do you know when you’re ready for that? Will your (grand)children be equipped to shoulder all adult responsibilities when they turn 18? How do you help make that happen?
