In 2015, Tim Putnam, a hospital CEO with three decades of experience in health care, together with his high school aged daughter Hannah, completed the six-month training to become Emergency Medical Technicians. Over the last three years, they experienced the interaction between the worlds of emergency medical services, acute care and public health from unique viewpoints. They will share their unique perspectives on father-daughter inter-generational learning and the current relationship between EMS, public and population health, and acute care. This presentation will also include real-life examples of their first-hand experiences in the field working 911 for Batesville Fire and EMS.
