Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is a proven treatment for clients with borderline personality disorder, and research also supports its use with those with eating disorders. This session will present an introduction to DBT with individuals struggling with eating disorders in various settings. Discussion will be focused on managing behaviors such as binging, purging, and restricting in group and individual settings. Attendees will interact and practice these techniques and leave with usable ideas for practice.
