Counselor educators must aid students in developing competencies for counseling with transgender, lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, questioning, intersex, and ally (LGBTQQIA) individuals. This interactive session will highlight how counselor educators may use feminist pedagogy in the classroom to encourage ally development within students. The presenters will showcase how challenging traditional pedagogical methods while focusing on intersectionality facilitates essential LGBTQQIA awareness.
