Examining the leadership experiences of ethnically diverse women from a Chi Sigma Iota (CSI) chapter provides information about counselor leadership identity development, and how CSI involvement helps to promote the acquisition advocacy and leadership skills, understand how counselor leadership development intertwines with racial/gender development, and solidify the need for understanding intersectionality. Learn about leadership development resources, activities, styles, acquisition of skills, reflections, and lessons learned from past and current leaders of one CSI chapter. Implications include how CSI chapters can incorporate advocacy and leadership-based activities to facilitate counselor leadership identity development.
