With the increased focus on iden9fying and remedia9ng vulnerabili9es, cyber specialists require built in tools that ingest approved content from authorized DoD sources to quickly and consistently verify and validate compliance with patch status and DoD policy. This Red Hat Session reviews the fundamentals of Red Hat Enterprise Linux security, and introduces the use of the NIST validated OpenSCAP Workbench tools that simplify compliance as well as enabling the DoD cyber professional to create, test, and enforce consistent security policy for mandatory access control across systems using graphical tools.
