Before we dive into e-commerce and order management platform selections and implementations, let’s understand how today’s platforms need to be evaluated and optimized -- or “ripped and replaced.” This is a crash course on the types of platforms retailers are leveraging today, as well as how to manage the interoperability with other major components such as content management, customer relationship management, order management, product information management, and point-of-sale systems.
