Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) has created a disruptive change in land surveying practices. Rapid advances in technology have drastically changed what can be accomplished utilizing innovative methods. This session will discuss the best practices to obtain survey grade accuracy utilizing UAS, LiDAR, and traditional methods in a hybrid approach to achieve high-precision topographic land surveys more efficiently and with less cost.
