This program will look at how safety can be negatively impacted because of where electrical products are obtained.  Many factors drive what products are purchased and where products are sourced.  These decisions sometimes may seem trivial but could negatively impact safety of the installed solution.  Counterfeit products, an issue within our industry, will be discussed as well as other areas of concerns that may jeopardize the importance of the chain of ownership which present hidden risks to safety.  The attendee will understand the differences between counterfeit products, re-manufactured products and reused products.  This session will speak to common mistakes made when sourcing products as well as steps that can be taken to avoid these pit falls.
