This new scalable solution offers the benefits of lower storage cost and a fully digital seismic library managed from a single web-based application called TerraStor™. Storing seismic data in the cloud comes with challenges, including: latency, security, and legality. Equinor and Triton Data Services collaborated to mitigate these risks to achieve this modern platform. This talk covers the planning, deployment, and processes in using this cloud based seismic storage solution at Equinor.
