We will discuss a recent report on the effect of climate change on wind energy production due to projected wind resource changes. We will provide an update on the current projections and climate change research, and present a high level look at wind resource variation over the past 20 years in specific locations across North America based on publicly available datasets. A discussion of the potential impacts of climate change on the wind industry and future risk will be presented.
