The continuous increase of competence among different sources of renewable energy has originated a noticeable reduction of its cost. This process has been enhanced by the adoption by some key governments of the auction mechanisms to grant the projects.
In this context of high competitivity it is even more important than ever to assure the profitability of the projects. To properly analyze the business case of a potential investment in the current situation is necessary to increase the accuracy when determining the expected energy generated by the assets and when estimating the associated costs of the project.
