David started his career with Alstom in 2009 as a Stress Analysis Engineer in the Mechanical Integrity group in Mannheim, Germany. Working on both steam turbine new equipment as well as service projects (including fleets manufactured by other suppliers), David has extensive knowledge of design requirements/acceptance criteria and repair/optimization solutions. He is focusing on the structural integrity of turbine components along with lifetime studies of entire turbine trains. In 2012, David moved to Richmond, VA, and joined Alstom’s local steam turbine organization. He has been recently appointed to manager of the Mechanical Integrity group with responsibility for lifetime assessments, rotor dynamics, and mechanical integrity. David holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt, Germany.
