Stuart has been Technical Head for the boiler engineering area at E.ON Technologies since 2007, having worked in the power industry since 1986 in a variety of roles focussed on boiler pressure parts, pipework and steel structures plus auxiliary plant. As well as supporting operational plant in these areas, he has been involved in new build and in tracking new technologies. This role has included work both within and outside the UK and for both internal (E.ON) and external customers. Stuart is a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE). He sits on the IMechE Fossil Power Committee and chairs the IMechE Conventional Power Boiler User Group. He has a degree in mechanical engineering from Manchester University.
