Andrew Lustig is a partner in the Cooley Business department and head of the Mid Atlantic Business & Finance Group. He joined the firm in 2000 and is resident in the Reston office. Mr. Lustig specializes in private equity investments, mergers and acquisitions and the general corporate representation of high growth technology companies in both the commercial and government marketplace. His practice focuses on a wide range of industry sectors including information technology, national security, cyber security, government contracts, software, telecommunications and life sciences. He also represents a number of leading venture capital and private equity firms. Mr. Lustig's mergers and acquisitions experience has included the representation of buyers and sellers in billions of dollars' worth of acquisition transactions, and he specializes in structuring and negotiating transactions such as stock and asset acquisitions and divestitures, mergers, auctions, recapitalizations, spin-offs and consolidations. Mr. Lustig's venture capital and private equity experience includes numerous seed, angel, venture, mezzanine and growth equity round financings. Mr. Lustig is a founder and board member of MissionLink, an exclusive, CEO-only organization which fosters collaboration, access and opportunity for companies focused on defense and national security missions (www.missionlinkdc.org).
