Bridget Ward is a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst and Environmental Planner for HDR, specializing in GIS integration and spatial analytics for environmental and transportation logistics. Bridget currently serves as a GIS team member for the Washington, DC to Richmond Southeast High Speed Rail (SEHSR) project, commonly referenced as “DC2RVA”. Currently, Bridget is utilizing GIS in alternative analyses, impact models, and resource map production in the DC2RVA project. In her 4 years of experience, Bridget has provided GIS support for a wide range of projects, including environmental impact statements, wetland delineations, stormwater modeling, and geotechnical subsurface investigations. Bridget has a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and Geography from the University of Richmond and a graduate certification in GIS from Pennsylvania State University. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in GIS from Pennsylvania State University, expected in spring 2017.
