Trish Shifflett joined Delta Dental of Virginia (DDVA) in January 2010 as a Clinical Fraud Analyst. Responsibilities include investigation and pursuit of dental fraud and abuse, recovery of lost funds, and assisting law enforcement agencies. She graduated from East Tennessee State University and is a licensed dental hygienist in both Virginia and North Carolina. She practiced clinically for 30 years, the last 21 years in a dual position as office administrator and hygienist. She obtained her AHFI in 2013.
