Kirsten LaMantia, Ph.D., LPC (ID), an Assistant Professor and Training Clinic Coordinator in the Department of Educational Leadership and Counseling at Southeast Missouri State University. She graduated from Idaho State University with a doctorate in Counselor Education and Counseling. Her research interests include multicultural competency, advocacy of LGBTQQIA communities, and how to best serve minority students within counselor education. Dr. LaMantia's counseling experience includes working in Chicago, IL and Southeast Idaho as a group, individual, and play therapy counselor of victims and child witnesses of domestic violence.
