Mike Mariska is an assistant professor at the Counselor Education and School Psychology department at Plymouth State University in New Hampshire. He teaches core coursework for both the Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling programs, and serves as the Clinical Experiences Coordinator for both programs.  Dr. Mariska’s research interests include skills training, counselor self-efficacy, nonverbal communication, and neuroscience.  His clinical experiences include work in college student counseling, career counseling, and clinical mental health with a variety of populations. He serves as the Associate Editor for the Journal for Counselor Preparation and Supervision, the Awards Chair and Technology Chair for NARACES, and was recently elected as the NARACES President-elect-elect.
