Jonique Childs is a doctoral candidate in the Counselor Education & Supervision program at the University of Iowa's College of Education and is certified as a national counselor (NCC). Ms. Childs has work experiences within school and clinical mental health settings serving adolescents, high school students, undergraduates, graduate students, and older adults. Ms. Childs has maintained various leadership positions at the academic and community level. Ms. Childs research includes social justice, advocacy, multicultural counseling, and cultural competency for leadership and professional identity development.
