Dr. Fox is a Nationally Certified Counselor with experience working clients from a range of demographics and presenting problems in a college counseling center, an intensive outpatient adolescent addiction, and in a community counseling clinic specializing in treating clients from primarily low-income households.  In addition to being an active clinician, Dr. Fox is also active in scholarship having contributed several peer-reviewed publications and presentations at the international, national, regional and state level.  His primary research interests focus on the connection of the existential and spiritual to various areas of mental health including intuition, addictions, dissociative identity disorder, mysticism and meditation. He also serves on the editorial board for academic journals including Counseling and Values, Measurement and Evaluation in Counseling and Development, and Counseling Outcome Research and Evaluation.  Dr. Fox is currently an Executive Board Member for the Association for Spiritual, Ethical, and Religious Values in Counseling, a subdivision of the American Counseling Association.
