Therese Maxfield is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in Counselor Education & Supervision at the University of South Carolina.  Prior to beginning doctoral studies, she worked in Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient settings counseling clients suffering from chronic and long-term eating disorders. Therese has also worked in college counseling centers and with students seeking assistance transitioning to college-life. Current research areas of interest include the effects of role transition on emotional well-being and counselor identity development.
