Mr. Mark Foster is the Chief of the Infrastructure Line of Business within the Computing Ecosystem of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). In this role, his responsibilities include delivering and sustaining the enterprise storage and virtualization capabilities within DISA’s inventory. In addition, he has the responsibility for providing standardized change and configuration management for the Computing Ecosystem. Mr. Foster has over 14 years’ experience focused on leading mission partner engagement activities at DISA. Prior to his current position, Mr. Foster was the Deputy Chief of the Mission Partner Engagement Office within the Development and Business Center at DISA. In this role, he managed direct outreach efforts to DISA mission partners to provide timely information for all services and capabilities in the DISA service portfolio and to ensure the successful fielding of these capabilities to the mission partner. In addition, Mr. Foster has held the position of Chief of the Customer Engagement Center, Enterprise Services Directorate. In this role he was DISA’s principal senior representative for all mission partner matters relating to a computing and enterprise service portfolio totaling over $900M. This included managing all direct outreach efforts in these areas to ensure that mission partners were provided timely support to their critical mission needs. Mr. Foster has also been the Customer Management Executive for DFAS/DLA workload and Chief of the Logistics Division, both within DISA’s Computing Services Directorate. Mr. Foster began his 34 year federal career as a Navy civilian where he held positions as a Contracting Officer, Business Manager and Fleet Business Manager. Mr. Foster has a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Connecticut as well as a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University.
