Richard’s primary focus is analyzing customers’ needs and applying Ascolta advanced analytics and cyber readiness capabilities to address them. He previously led cyber solution strategies at ViON Corporation, after serving both in uniform and government civilian service for over 20 years with the Army and Defense Information Systems Agency’s (DISA). He brings a deep understanding of the cyber domain, the Department of Defense strategy and diverse perspectives around cyber security. Richard led the Executive Program for the Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS) and an Army-wide network modernization effort prior to leaving federal service. Richard is recognized for his breadth of information management operational experience and as an innovative thought leader able to implement large complex IT programs. He is also recognized for his strategic messaging for the DoD and the Army on IT reform and modernization for Congress. Richard has a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of Virginia with a specialty in Operational Research and Systems Analysis.
