U.S. Army Cyber School
Mr. Shawn Bova is a native of Warren, PA who retired from the United States Army in 2012 and currently serves the Army as a civilian. He began his military career in 1989 when he enlisted in the United States Army as an intelligence Soldier. His previous military assignments include D Co. 313th Military Intelligence Battalion, 82d Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, HHC Co., 2nd Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne), Fort Campbell, Kentucky, Special Operations Command Europe in Stuttgart, Germany, USAOMS in Washington, D.C., New Systems Training and Integration Office in Fort Huachuca, Arizona, Theater ACE SGM/CSM, 532d MI BN, and Chief Career Manager, Office of the Chief, MI (OCMI). His civilian experiences include Senior Program Manager with Beacon Group, Biometrics Training Specialist (Intelligence) and Deputy Director Office of the Chief, Military Intelligence. His military education includes Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Non-Commissioned Officers Course, Advanced Non-Commissioned Officers Course, First Sergeant Course and the United States Army Sergeant Majors Course, Class #58. Other schools include Basic Airborne School, Jumpmaster, SERE (High Risk), Strategic Debriefer and Instructor Training Course. He has earned a Master’s in Education and a Baccalaureate in Business Administration. Shawn is married to the former Jami Mullett and has two sons.
