Jane M. Dodds, MPH, FACMPE, earned a BA in General Sciences at the University of Rochester, and Masters in Public Health at the University of Pittsburgh. She earned Fellowship in the American College of Medical Practice Executives in 2002. Jane began her healthcare career in the Education Department of a Planned Parenthood affiliate, then moved to a hospital based Dialysis clinic. She transitioned to a private Cardiology practice for 9 years, a short stint with a large Anesthesia group, followed by 9 years with a private Pediatric group and 9 years with Orthopaedics. She is currently working with the largest private OBGYN practice in Rochester, NY, Women Gynecology and Childbirth Associates, P.C. Jane has served on local, state and national MGMA boards, was President of NYMGMA in 1999, and of the Primary Care Assembly in 2003. She served on the Survey Advisory Committee from 2003-2006, and is currently serving on the Government Affairs Committee. In addition to her professional career, she sings with the Eastman Rochester Community Chorus. Jane is a persistent Democrat, and serves on her County Committee and the statewide Democratic Rural Conference of NY. She was an active volunteer with the Boy Scouts and high school musicals. Her two sons are grown, graduated, gainfully employed, and happily married. She recently became ‘Grandma Jane’, and looks forward to many years in that role.
