I have been in academic/large group practice management for over twenty-five years. I am currently Practice Administrator for the Department of Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. I am responsible for the human resources function, graduate medical education and administration. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and a Master’s Degree in Business Management. I became a Certified Medical Practice Executive in ACMPE and achieved Fellowship in the American College of Practice Executive in 2007. I also have my SPHR, Senior Professional Human Resources certification. I am committed to volunteering for MGMA by serving on numerous MGMA and ACMPE committees and serving on the MGMA-ACMPE Board.
