Dr. Julie Ravenscraft is an Accounting Instructor at Missouri State University in Springfield, MO. She teaches Professionalism in Accountancy (a career development and communication course for accounting majors) and Governmental and Not-for-Profit Accounting. Julie has a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University. Julie is also a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Missouri. Julie is actively involved in the Association of Government Accountants at the national and local level. She is a nine-year AGA member. At the national level she serves on the Higher Education Committee and previously served on the Leadership Development Committee, and the Young Professional Focus Group. She also serves as the Early Careers chair for the Ozarks chapter. Julie also served on the local AGA scholarship selection committee for multiple years. Julie was a recipient of the 2016 AGA Young Professional PDT Scholarship. She also presented sessions at the 2017 PDT and two online AGA member webinars in 2016 and 2018.
