David is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of all internal and external communications for the European Zoo and Aquarium sector’s stakeholder base which includes EU legislators, zoos and aquariums, conservation partners, the public, and some of the world’s leading media channels. He is an expert in the field of crisis communication strategy and management, providing strategic council and social media advice for EAZA members. He organizes the annual conferences of the association and keeps oversight of multiple other conferences. David is also liaison to the the association’s Communications Committee and contributor to the EAZA Strategy 2017-2020 and keeps oversight of the educational offerings of EAZA.
