Brian Hicks joined Xavier in 2004 and was named Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing in June 2008. He was promoted to Associate Athletic Director for External Relations in August of 2013. Hicks is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the department’s external areas, which include communications and media relations, ticket sales and operations, marketing, trademark licensing, and the Cintas Center’s sales and technical support services. Hicks is a member of the department's senior leadership team and serves as the sport administrator for the Musketeers’ men's and women’s soccer and women’s lacrosse programs. Hicks is a member of the National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA), served on its Board of Directors from 2011-2020 and was President during the 2018-19 year.
