Katie Gillen joined the Atlanta United front office team fulltime in 2017 as Manager of Social Media and Analytics. Katie oversees the social media team and content creation for Atlanta United social platforms. As Manager of Social Media and Analytics, Katie identifies and delivers metrics, benchmarks, and projections for Atlanta United digital channels. As well as provides Atlanta United with competitive reporting on social and digital campaigns. Prior to joining Atlanta United, Katie worked at ESPN in Bristol, Connecticut and ESPNU in Charlotte. Her primary responsibilities were creating video and written content for SportsCenter. Katie got her start in television and digital media while attending the University of Florida where she graduated with a degree in Telecommunications. Katie currently lives OTP and enjoys volunteering with Atlanta Humane Society and Girls on the Run.
