Michael Sainte was named Director of Compliance and Membership Services for the BIG EAST March 2017. In this role he is responsible for the day-to-day compliance of the BIG EAST Conference and its member institutions. Additionally, Michael oversees the Conference’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and execution of academic-based collaborative programming involving the membership. Prior to his arrival at the BIG EAST, Sainte spent time at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro from 2015-17 and Georgia State University in 2011-15. Michael earned his master’s degree in sports administration from Georgia State in 2012 after collecting his bachelor’s degree from Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, NC in 2009.
