Upon high school graduation Mark joined the US Army as an infantryman. During basic training Mark was selected to serve in the US Army Honor Guard in our nations capital. While serving in Washington DC he was in the Pentagon on the morning of September 11, 2001. Upon the completion of his service Mark returned to college in Northern California at Feather River where he also played football. After a successful career at Feather River he received several offers to play at the next level. He chose to attend Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. Mark had two successful season for the Aggies garnering all conference in his position as well as being awarded the Pat Tillman Patriot Award. Mark has an extensive background in leading and executing large scale projects and organizations from concept through completion, including the construction of combined cycle gas power plants and large-scale process and LNG projects. Mark currently serves as the Senior Vice President for Venture Global LNG. Mark is married and lives in Mclean, VA with his wife Courtney and two boys, Hudson and Kyle.
