Rob Knox
Associate Director/Athletic Communications (CoSIDA President)
Towson University
Rob Knox serves as the Towson University Associate Director of Media Relations. A 1996 Lincoln (Pennsylvania) graduate and native of Chester, (Pa.), Knox was inducted into The Lincoln University Athletic Hall of Fame. He is currently the CoSIDA president. Before arriving at Towson, Knox worked at Coppin State, ESPN as a Statistics Manager in the Statistics & Analysis department, Kutztown and Lincoln. Before entering the athletic communications field, Knox was sports reporter for the Delaware County (Pa.) Daily Times. Knox graduated from the NCAA Leadership Institute and completed the NCAA's Effective Facilitation Workshop in 2016. Knox was honored in October 2017 with the Lincoln Alumni Service Award. Knox received a citation from Chester City Hall and was the recipient of the Lincoln University Athletics Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019. Knox was named the 2011 College Sports Information Directors’ Association (CoSIDA) Rising Star. He is married to Trudell Knox and they are the proud parents of an 8-year old son, Robert, IV (‘RJ”) and 3-year old daughter, Drue Monae. They reside in Harford County, Maryland.
