Brandon Fitchett is a Senior Project Manager for renewable energy research at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI). Backed by 15 years of engineering experience and more than 10 years in the wind industry, he leads wind power research focused on new technology, asset management, performance and operations & maintenance. Before joining EPRI in 2016, Brandon was senior manager of service engineering for a multi-GW fleet of wind turbines. He also worked as an engineering consultant and, prior to that, as an engineering manager and aerodynamics design engineer for wind turbine blades . Prior to his work in the wind industry, Brandon worked in aerial drone R&D and operations engineering for a large satellite constellation. Brandon has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in aerospace engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park.
