Jonathan Shikes is a Northwestern University-trained journalist with 25 years of experience as a writer, editor and manager at daily and weekly newspapers and websites. He has also been writing about the craft beer industry for a decade in Colorado, where he helped foster a community of beer lovers on social media. Shikes is currently running a beer newsletter called Colorado Beer Beat and finishing a book about Denver's beer history. It is due out in mid-2019.
